Yet again, we had a brave soul enduring the cold in the name of creativity! Alexis is having her Sweet 16 party later this month and wanted some portraits taken prior to the event. She was AMAZING in front of the camera (and is a photographer herself), had tons of poses that we didn't even have to suggest to her, plus is a beautiful woman. Ahhh...to be 16 again, what a wonderful moment in life!

Extreme Makeover, Photography Edition: Alexis Stein Photography
Recently in our personal and professional lives, there have been a lot of wonderful changes for us - establishing an already successful business in a new location (Long Island, NY), getting engaged and planning our wedding (basically seeing the wedding world from the OTHER side for a change!), and further solidifying how we work together and what we do. One of the ways we are joined as a team is by being photographers together - so in essence, this past week we were married - CREATIVELY!
We are very excited to announce the launch of our newly redesigned website. The first site was wonderful for several years, but it was time for revamping. We feel that the new site really encompasses what Alexis Stein Photography is all about: beautiful naturally artistic photographs! People that know us know that we embrace the world around us and the design and direction of the new site reflects that with its earthy appeal. We wanted something very natural and easy to navigate for our friends, family and clients. A HUGE thank you goes out to Glenn at FlareFX for his design (and zombie fighting expertise) and really understanding all of our ideas.
We hope that you all enjoy the new site, click on the photo below and let us know what you think:

A Love Grows in Brooklyn
This past Saturday we made our way to Brooklyn to photograph the very bubbly, charismatic Shibinsky and her love, her handsome groom Isias. Since the beginning they have been an absolute pleasure to meet and talk about their wedding, so we couldn't wait to have an engagement shoot. They found love in Brooklyn, and their adoration continues to grow...
They met on MeetAGinger.com
Haha, just kidding (but there ARE actually several redhead dating websites!), their story actually started while working together at the Apple Store. Chris and Caroline were a dream to shoot, we really didn't have to direct them at all, they were so natural together and just "went with it". Take a look at some of our favorite shots below at one of our favorite places to shoot on Long Island.
