Matt & Frank | Wedding

Matt & Frank had a very unique situation for their wedding.  They planned it months ago to be in CT, where gay marriage is legalized...but in the meantime NY (where they reside) legalized gay marriage as well - they decided to keep the plans as is.  They also made the unusual decision of having their wedding on a Wednesday, which worked out perfectly for us since we made a stop in CT on the way up to Maine for OUR wedding.  Everything fell into place perfectly with these wonderful guys.  We had an awesome time celebrating with them and meeting many of their thoughtful friends, many of whom put very personal touches on helping out with their day.  They topped it off with a honeymoon to Italy...Congrats to Matt & Frank, viva amore!

Courtney & Kelly | Wedding

We are overjoyed to be seeing gay weddings growing in popularity now that NY has passed the law allowing them to legally marry.  We truly believe that this is a HUGE step in the right direction and enjoy seeing the same sentiments from others when we are at weddings.  Everyone was 10000% delighted for Courtney and Kelly, and you could see the absolute adoration between them.  Many happy tears were shed, and so many laughs, joyful dances, and perfect weather for the two of them.  You may remember their engagement shoot a few months back, and they have been quite the local media stars in blogs and newspapers.  We are so happy as well to have made such wonderful, lifelong friends.  Congrats again to this beautiful couple!

Mitch & Gina | Wedding

Keith met the lovely Mitch and Gina at the town hall in Kew Gardens, Queens and joined them for an intimate ceremony followed by a couples/post-wedding photo shoot around DUMBO.  After the shoot, Keith was treated to some wonderful Filipino cuisine which was a first for him.  He is delighted to have made two new friends and wish them the best in their lives together.

We are very excited to be a part of this amazing blog and website!  So You're EnGAYged is a place dedicated to LGBT couples with the wonderful spirit of accepting EVERY type of couple.  We found this site and immediately felt that we needed to be a part of it and wanted to find out how we could be a part of more LGBT couples' days.  Check out our listing on their vendors page...and keep an eye out for another post coming soon when they feature our photography!

Meet Me in Montauk

Today our photographic adventures brought us to gorgeous Montauk, Long Island.  It's warming up, so it was in the 50's and we explored the beach while having our fair share of goofing off with Courtney & Kelly.  The day was filled with some rock climbing, shell and rock hunting, climbing into strange cement structures, and some playing with masks.  Had a wonderful day and can't wait for their wedding in September!!!
