The Nemeths | Family

It's getting close to the holidays, so we are getting a few family photo sessions coming out way.  This gorgeous family happens to be our neighbor's son's family, so the kids were total hams in front of the camera.  We met them on a crisp early morning at one of our favorite parks.  Looking forward to photographing more wonderful families like the Nemeths!

Jennifer & Steven | Maternity

It's always such a joy when someone comes to us wanting maternity photos.  Jenn & Steve were a delight to photograph, BOTH of them glowing with the excitement of a little one on the way...and since this shoot they have welcomed sweet, beautiful, healthy baby Antonino ~ Many congrats to becoming a family!  Stay tuned for another shoot with them in the coming months!

Carly & Rob | Engagement

We met Carly and Rob at a Bridal Expo on Long Island a few months back.  They are the proud owners of New York Digital Memories, an awesome photo booth company (recommended by us, of course!).  One thing led to another, and now we are photographing their wedding in a few months!  We met them for their engagement session and took to the beach with their gorgeous son, Graham.  They were such an easygoing couple, the photo shoot really flowed naturally.  We closed the afternoon out at a local ice cream parlor - YUM!

Extreme Makeover, Photography Edition: Alexis Stein Photography

Recently in our personal and professional lives, there have been a lot of wonderful changes for us - establishing an already successful business in a new location (Long Island, NY), getting engaged and planning our wedding (basically seeing the wedding world from the OTHER side for a change!), and further solidifying how we work together and what we do.  One of the ways we are joined as a team is by being photographers together - so in essence, this past week we were married - CREATIVELY!

We are very excited to announce the launch of our newly redesigned website.  The first site was wonderful for several years, but it was time for revamping.  We feel that the new site really encompasses what Alexis Stein Photography is all about: beautiful naturally artistic photographs!  People that know us know that we embrace the world around us and the design and direction of the new site reflects that with its earthy appeal.  We wanted something very natural and easy to navigate for our friends, family and clients.  A HUGE thank you goes out to Glenn at FlareFX for his design (and zombie fighting expertise) and really understanding all of our ideas.

Sweet Sophia's 1st birthday

Denise and Mike's Wedding & Holiday Portraits

A few months back we photographed Denise and Mike in NJ at Asbury Park (see previous post), where we couldn't stop shooting.  This was the great combination of a wonderful couple and an perfect location with plenty of variety.  Well, we were equally blessed for their wedding day, back in November, when we thought it was going to be chilly - and were pleasantly surprised that it was a gorgeous day to go outside and shoot more portraits!  We also got the opportunity to photograph their family holiday photo a few weeks later.  Congrats to Denise, Mike & the boys!
