Dana | Trash the Dress

Oh, man - have we been busy!  Keep your eyes peeled for a bunch of blog posts this week...we have been super busy opening our studio, so haven't kept up with the blog like we should.  Anyhow...almost a month ago, we had a FABULOUS Trash the Dress session with our model/bride/friend, Dana.  She is a multi-talented beautiful friend of ours who started as a model for us, quickly became a friend, was a bride within a month of us meeting her (and Alexis shot her wedding).  So when she expressed enthusiasm for doing a Trash the Dress session - the answer was a giddy YES!!  We also were so lucky to find our beloved kitty, Hurricane - on the same day, so she got to share in another wonderful event in our lives.  Take a look at her awesomeness:

Haha, just kidding (but there ARE actually several redhead dating websites!), their story actually started while working together at the Apple Store.  Chris and Caroline were a dream to shoot, we really didn't have to direct them at all, they were so natural together and just "went with it".  Take a look at some of our favorite shots below at one of our favorite places to shoot on Long Island. 

Summer Events

A couple months ago, I had the pleasure of starting out my summer season with two awesome events (in one day!). I've been busy and backed up on my blogging, so the next few posts are going to present what I've been up to for the past couple months...

Dena had her Bat Mitzvah at The Park Hill Racquet Club in Yonkers...

Maria was Christened at the Greek Orthodox Church in Port Jefferson with a reception at the East Wind. What a fun-filled, celebratory, festive day!

The Babies are Coming! The Babies are Coming!

I recently had 2 Maternity shoots - one woman who is having twins and another having her 2nd baby girl! Both of them are due at about the same time - end of July, so I hope to be taking newborn photos soon too! Everyone looked beautiful and was very willing to play out my fun, pretty, intimate and whimsical ideas...thank you. I'm wishing Happy Healthy arrivals to all the families :)
