Wicked Awesome Engagement in Beantown

A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of going on up to Boston (on the way to Maine to do some of OUR wedding planning!) and photograph the beautiful A & P. Not only were they undeniably photogenic, but they were super sweet and fun to hang out with. They took us around their favorite spots including Copley Square, Newbury Street, the Public Library, Commonwealth Ave., and the Esplanade by the Charles River - where they actually GOT engaged recently...we even kicked a guy off "their" bench (politely!) so we could get a few shots.

Congrats to the blissful couple on their engagement and thanks again for a wonderful afternoon!

Asbury Park, NJ - wish we lived closer!

Oh, man! We wish Asbury Park was closer to us - what a fantastic photo shoot location. We made the trip (totally worth it) to do D & M's engagement shoot a few weeks ago. They were the perfect couple to put in the setting - full of emotion and playfulness. The only thing that could have made it better was if Bruce actually stopped by like he did for this other couple...but I know he has a busy schedule.

Can't wait to shoot D & M's wedding in a couple weeks!

Before Winter comes - a little more Spring!

Winter is coming - despite the last few days of Indian Summer. I felt a chill today, and the air definitely smelled like Fall...

Before we go into the chilly (but beautiful!) colder months, I thought I'd share a few sunnier photos we took this summer for a maternity shoot. Roosevelt Island is a quiet oasis "so close yet so far" from Manhattan. It was a perfect backdrop for an urban mommy-to-be!

What do you get when you mix an Aquarium, a Greek Church, a Lamborghini?? A Wedding!

We had a blast at this amazing wedding over the summer...never had been to a reception at an aquarium - but now I'm a total fan! What a fun place to party and take photos. Thanks T&C for being an adorable couple, and having a fantastic wedding!

Lanie & Chris - "Remember to Breathe"

Out in the desert a few hours from Los Angeles - just outside Joshua Tree National Park, and then about 1/2 an hour down a remote road (just when you think you've gone too far...) is Pioneertown. The Rimrock Ranch to be specific. I'm amazed that Lanie & Chris found this place at ALL...but man, was it worth it! Spectacular desert beauty everywhere you look, and the Ranch was the perfect canvas for a passionate DIY couple like them. From the flowers to the food to the decor (keys and ribbons hanging from trees, handmade paper plate flowers, their own drink recipes...) everything had their personal touch!

Congrats to the happy couple (and their doggie, Calliope!) - you ROCK!
