Matt & Frank had a very unique situation for their wedding.  They planned it months ago to be in CT, where gay marriage is legalized...but in the meantime NY (where they reside) legalized gay marriage as well - they decided to keep the plans as is.  They also made the unusual decision of having their wedding on a Wednesday, which worked out perfectly for us since we made a stop in CT on the way

Winter is coming - despite the last few days of Indian Summer. Out in the desert a few hours from Los Angeles - just outside Joshua Tree National Park, and then about 1/2 an hour down a remote road (just when you think you've gone too far...) is Pioneertown. Here's a peek at some things in Long Island City (or LIC, as we like to abbreviate it), Queens. It's just across the East River, great views of Manhattan. One of the main reasons I moved back to the east coast was because I missed the seasons. What a perfect place to be during Autumn - New York City - and specifically, Central Park! There were so many people out enjoying the park and admiring the changing leaves, it made me very excited to be a New Yorker again.

Baby Elias arrived about 3 1/2 weeks ago (from these photos). Mom, Dad, family and friends are all delighted by this little sweetheart's arrival. He was a good sport throughout the photoshoot, and even looked cute when he got tired and cried and yelled at us a bit! Congrats to everyone!

I also went to Angela's graduation party this weekend - what a great celebration! It was held at Boothe Memorial Park, a picturesque, quirky park. They had The Big Green Truck with fabulous pizza & an espresso bar and a Mad Dog's Hot Dog truck too! Fabulous food, family, friends and music made this all a wonderful sendoff for Angela going off to college! Dad giving a speech....awww....
